Celebrate Equine Advocates, an equine sanctuary home to 80+ rescued horses by purchasing a limited edition T-shirt representing the mini appaloosa, Rocket Man, who Radio Woodstock is proudly sponsoring for the year. 

Rocket Man was born in 2009 and arrived at the sanctuary in May of 2012 after they learned that he was an intact male (stallion) living in a field with full-size mares – a very dangerous situation where he could have been seriously injured. He had apparent soundness issues and they immediately sent him to an equine hospital where he was gelded and had surgery on his left hind limb. Thankfully, he is now pasture sound and enjoys hanging out at the Main Barn with his friends.

Equine Advocates is a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) equine protection organization whose mission is to rescue, protect, and prevent the abuse of Equines through education, investigation, rescues operations, the dissemination of information to the public and the operation of a horse sanctuary for slaughter-bound, abused, and neglected horses.
